A man was hospitalised following a serious assault in which he received a number of stab wounds in Dublin city.
The man was attacked near the junction of Eden Quay and O'Connell Street between 1 a.m. and 1.40 a.m. today.
He was taken to hospital by taxi. Gardai at Store St are asking for any witnesses to contact them at (01) 6668000.
