Powerful winds in the north of Spain caused difficulties for planes as they attempted to land at Bilbao's Loiu airport.
Crosswinds of up to 100km/h on Wednesday forced some planes to abandon their attempts to land and divert to other airports.
The winds are part of a larger weather system that has also brought severe winds and heavy rain across much of Ireland.
