Six Dublin mill workers shared Saturday night's Lotto jackpot of more than £1.5 million. The men from Buckley's Builders Providers, on the Long Mile Road, Dublin, each won £276,202.84. The men, the youngest of whom is 24 and the eldest in his mid-60s, won the money on a £4 ticket bought in Whitehall on Saturday. The National Lottery said the man who bought the ticket told one of the others about the win on Sunday morning and three others found out later. The sixth member of the group did not find out until he turned up for work yesterday morning.
"The men said that they won't be giving up work and one even ventured that he wouldn't give up his overtime allowance, either," a National Lottery spokeswoman said.
