Los Angeles - The jokes bordered on the ghoulish and a whole neighbourhood seemed to breathe a sigh of relief as wrecking crews on Wednesday brought down the house that OJ Simpson made famous.
The two-story English manor-style home was destroyed so its new owner could build a house that would attract fewer tourists to a piece of land he paid a reputed $3.9 million for last year.
