TELEVISION PRESENTER Gráinne Seoige has been named as a member of ITVs onscreen editorial team for its forthcoming breakfast show.

Daybreak, which replaces GMTV, will be hosted by anchors Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley. It is to begin broadcasting from September on weekdays between 6am and 8.30am.

Seoige has joined the team as features editor, ITV confirmed yesterday. Other Daybreakpresenters named include Kate Garraway, John Stapleton, Dr Hilary Jones and Richard Gaisford.

Speculation had mounted recently that Seoige was planning a permanent move to Britain after working as a stand-in presenter on GMTV.
