A Co Limerick porter who raped a bank manager's daughter 20 years ago is due to be sentenced at the Central Criminal Court by Mr Justice O'Sullivan next Wednesday.

The 54-year-old married man and father of three was convicted on October 21st, 1999, of raping a now 30-year-old woman, having unlawful carnal knowledge of her and of indecently assaulting her on dates from 1979 to 1982.
