Belfast city centre has reopened following a security alert sparked by the discovery of two suspicious devices.

Belfast city centre has reopened following a security alert sparked by the discovery of two suspicious devices.

The devices have been declared hoaxes, a PSNI spokesman said.

A British army technical officer was called to the scene of the first find on Grosvenor Road. The road was closed up to the entrance to the Falls Road.

Army teams also investigated a bag that was left on a bus at Wellington Place near City Hall.
