Seoul - Seven members of a South Korean doomsday sect burned themselves to death yesterday in a self-immolation rite in a van, police said.
The rite in a remote area east of Seoul was led by pastor Woo Jong-min (53), of the Yongsaeng (everlasting life) Church, police said. Woo was among the dead.
