A search for a Cork student feared drowned in the River Corrib in Galway resumes this morning.

A search for a Cork student feared drowned in the River Corrib in Galway resumes this morning.

The 19-year-old was seen falling into the river at the Quincenntenial Bridge yesterday. He is thought to be a student of NUI Galway. A second student, who also fell into the river, swam safely ashore.

Garda sub-aqua divers had last night called off a search.
