A group of Scottish MPs today continue a six-day visit to Ireland.
The delegation's itinerary includes meetings next week with President Mary McAleese, Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and an attendance at a Dail sitting.
Informal meetings will be held in Co Donegal this weekend with representatives of Inishowen Rural Development Ltd, Donegal County Council and Forward Emphasis International.
The MPs, led by parliamentary presiding officer George Reid, will also visit the Co Donegal Gaeltacht area.
The MPs were invited to Ireland by Ceann Comhairle Dr Rory O'Hanlon and the Irish Parliamentary Association.
The delegation will also meet Minister of State at the Department of Foreign Affairs Noel Treacy in Dublin as well as Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny, Labour deputy leader Liz McManus and Progressive Democrats deputy leader Liz O'Donnell.
