Scotland manager Berti Vogts has no plans to draft any more players into his squad for the friendly against the Republic of Ireland despite an injury to defender Maurice Ross.

Ross picked up a hamstring injury during Rangers' win over Dunfermline at the weekend.

Leeds United defender Dominic Matteo was the first player to pull out of the squad through injury before announcing he retirement from international football.

Sunderland striker Kevin Kyle will play for the under-21s on Tuesday night before joining up with the full squad but Vogts is likely to play Stevie Crawford and Don Hutchison up front.

The sides meet at Hampden Park at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
