The police officer leading the investigation into the murder of a Co Antrim man has said the killing may have been sectarian.
Mr Trevor Lowry (49), from Glengormley died in hospital yesterday morning after being attacked on Saturday night. Chief Supt Bertie Verner said Mr Lowry was a Protestant who lived in a mainly Catholic area of Glengormley. Mr Lowry was believed to have been in two bars in Glengormley on Saturday evening before he was found with severe injuries at about 11.30 p.m.
