The RUC is investigating the desecration of the grave of a Co Tyrone farmer who died last year.
The local parish priest, Father John Ryder, who blessed Mr Michael O'Neill's remains in the cemetery at Broughderg, near Cookstown, before they were reinterred, declined to comment on the incident.
Mr O'Neill (46), a bachelor, had returned home from England to work a farm he had inherited from an uncle.
