RUC examine letter and car in arson attack

Police are investigating an arson attack in Ballycastle Co Antrim this morning, an RUC spokeswoman said.

Police are investigating an arson attack in Ballycastle Co Antrim this morning, an RUC spokeswoman said.

The alarm was raised at 5 a.m. when an estate car was found burnt out in Marconi Park in the town. Forensic experts are examining what remains of the car.

They are also examining a letter which was put through the letter box of a house in the estate.

A motive for the attack is not yet known.
