A Co Roscommon man has drowned in a boating accident while holidaying inthe Balearic Islands.
Mr Declan Frain (28) from Ballaghadereen, wason a boat trip off the Ibiza coast when the accident happened.
It is understood Mr Frain jumped off the craft into the water and that friends dived in to try and rescue him when he failed to resurface.
The man’sfamily isnow travelling to Ibiza to retrieve his body.
