Restaurant fined for bad hygiene

A restaurant in the fast-food chain Pizza Hut was fined £1,500 yesterday for breaches of the food hygiene regulations. Ladbury Enterprises Ltd, owner of the Pizza Hut in the Omni Shopping Centre, Santry, Dublin, pleaded guilty to the offences after an inspection of the premises in September last year.

An environmental health officer found the restaurant in a dirty condition, which the owners claimed was the result of "particular difficulties with management staff".
