Local residents and conservationists in west Dublin yesterday lodged an appeal to An Bord Pleanala against a controversial office development overlooking Kilmainham Gaol.
The Friends of Kilmainham group is seeking an oral hearing on the development, which it claims will overshadow historic buildings in the area. The group is staging a protest outside the gaol this afternoon at 3 p.m.
