Renoir painting fetches over £3m

London - A painting by Renoir, which has been unseen for 20 years, sold for £3,081,500 last night. La jeune fille au banc, which the French artistcreated as part of his series of garden pictures in 1875, was bought at Christies in London with a telephone bid.
