Harry Redknapp was today unveiled as director of football at Portsmouth.
The former West Ham manager left Upton Park last month after seven years in charge and had subsequently been linked with the vacant post at Southampton.
But the 54-year-old has decided to return to the game in a new role with the First Division club, which is managed by former Chelsea coach Graham Rix.
