A Dublin man has been remanded in custody by the Central Criminal Court to October 22nd next after he admitted attempting to rape a 19 year old woman two years ago.
The 28 year old defendant, who can not be named to protect the victim's identity, pleaded guilty to the offence which took place on August 7th, 1994. He also admitted a second charge of sexually assaulting the woman on the same date.
