NEW DELHI - The Delhi High Court yesterday rejected demands by a group of lawyers that former Indian prime minister Mr P.V. Narasimha Rao (74) be arrested in connection with a cheating case.

Lawyers from the independent All India Lawyers' Forum for Civil Liberties had petitioned the court to issue an arrest warrant for Mr Rao, saying a lower court judge's summons against him in the case was not good enough.
