Rail station at Kilcock opens

A new suburban rail station opened at Kilcock yesterday, more than 50 years after the last train served the Kildare town

A new suburban rail station opened at Kilcock yesterday, more than 50 years after the last train served the Kildare town. The station is on the Western Suburban line, which serves areas including Maynooth, Leixlip and Castle knock.

Initially there will be two services daily in each direction. Trains from Kilcock will depart at 07.28 (arriving at Connolly Station at 08.26) and 12.01 (arriving at Connolly at 12.51.

Trains from Connolly Station will leave at 10.40 (arriving at Kilcock at 11.30) and 17.15 (arriving at 18.12).
