The Irish racing fraternity are today mourning the tragic deaths of three members of the Tote who were killed last night in a horrific road crash on the N4.

Leo Jones, 54 from Mullingar, 20-year-old Kevin Masterson and 23-year-old Graham Walsh from Granard, Co Longford were travelling home from a days work at the Leopardstown races when they were involved in a collision with an articulated truck at Moyvalley between Clonard and Enfield in Co Kildare.

It is reported that two of the men were sitting in the front of their Red Fiat Scudo van and a third was in a rear passenger seat. The elder of the three is understood to have been driving.

The accident happened around 7.10pm. The driver of the truck escaped injury but was later treated for shock.
