London - Britain's Queen Mother was admitted to hospital late yesterday, a spokeswoman for Buckingham Palace said, and a news agency reported that she had fractured her hip.
The Press Association said the 97-year-old Queen Mother had fractured her left hip in a fall at the royal family's estate at Sandringham, in Norfolk, but would not comment on her condition.
