PSV Eindhoven have warned
Manchester United they may need to renegotiate a transfer fee for striker Ruud Van Nistelrooy which could be more than the £18.5 million sterling they agreed last year, British newspapers reported today.
Van Nistelrooy (24) signed with United last year but failed a medical and then injured his right knee in training shortly afterwards.
He began training again in January after a nine-month lay-off and made his return to the first team in March.
Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson, who is understood to still be keen on signing van Nistelrooy, watched PSV's 1-0 victory against Ajax Amsterdam on Saturday.
