PSNI seeking 40 serving officers

The PSNI has launched a campaign to find 40 police officers from the Republic and the UK

The PSNI has launched a campaign to find 40 police officers from the Republic and the UK. Senior director of human resources Joe Stewart said the transfer opportunity was open to any officer at constable rank.

“A number of those may have had difficulty joining the PSNI due to the hugely oversubscribed application rates over the past 10 years,” he said. “We now want those serving police officers, at constable rank, to consider transferring to the PSNI.”

An advertising campaign will begin early next month.
