A 25-year-old Catholic priest was killed in a two-vehicle accident on the outskirts of Derry yesterday evening while on his way back to the city from visiting his parents in Co Donegal.

Father Adrian Porter, a curate in the Glendermott parish in the Waterside area of Derry, was killed instantly when the car he was driving collided head-on with a van.
