The body of 67-year-old Bernard Hanlon was discovered by people diving from a boat in Sheephaven Bay on Saturday.

Malin Head Coastguard was alerted and the body of Mr Hanlon, a widower who lived in Dunfanaghy, was brought ashore at Downings Pier.

Gardaí said yesterday that they were still investigating the cause of the death.
