Possible 'drive-by' shooting in Dublin investigated

Gardai are investigating a possible 'drive-by' shooting incident in Dublin city centre this afternoon.

Gardai are investigating a possible 'drive-by' shooting incident in Dublin city centre this afternoon.

It is believed shots were fired at a man at Fishamble Street near Christ Church. However, it is understood the individual targeted in the incident is not cooperating with gardai. He was not injured.

Gardaí from Kevin Street station sealed off the area and a motorbike which may have been involved in the shooting was recovered.

A garda source confirmed that there is a possibility the incident may have been an attempted 'drive-by' shooting.

No arrests have been made.
