Vatican - Pope John Paul II said a special prayer yesterday calling for an end to the injustice that fosters hatred and terrorism.
Speaking before 25,000 people in St Peter's Square, the Pope also beatified eight late members of the clergy, including two victims of the Communist regime in the former Czechoslovakia.
