AN order restricting the use of poultry offal by manufacturers of cattle feed is to be made the Department of Agriculture today, the House was told.

The Minister of State for Agriculture, Mr Jimmy Deenihan, said the holding of poultry offal would be made subject to licence. It was important that any possibility of spreading BSE be eliminated.
