An explosion was reported in an industrial area in the Israeli coastal city of Netanya this afternoon, wounding at least two people, police said.

Israel Radio said a car bomb exploded in the city about 40 km north of Tel Aviv and close to the border with the West Bank.
"An explosion was heard in the industrial area of Netanya. Two people are wounded. We don't know their condition. It appears to be a terrorist attack," a police spokeswoman said.
