Two police officers have been arrested in relation to the beheading of three young men in the Philippines.

Two police officers have been arrested in relation to the beheading of three young men in the Philippines.

Mario Morales and Dennis Blasco allegedly beheaded the men inside a safehouse in Quezon City along with civilian Romeo Aguado, who has also been arrested.

Police are still looking for the heads of Kenny Azana, Rolando Popanes and an unidentified victim following a search of part of the San Mateo River.

Senior Inspector Rudy Jaraza said: "We received information that the suspects placed the heads in a plastic bag and threw the bag in that river."

The three men have been charged with double murder and attempted murder, says The Philippines Inquirer.
