The peace organisation S.T.O.P. called on the Irish Rugby Football Union to arrange a minute's silence before the Ireland England game at Lansdowne Road tomorrow as a gesture of solidarity with the family of the British soldier, Lance Bombardier Stephen Restorick, who was shot dead at Bessbrook, Co Armagh, last Wednesday. It also called on the GAA to organise a minute's silence at the start of its fixtures on Sunday.
