London - The Labour Party announced last night it is to return a donation from Formula One racing chief, Mr Bernie Ecclestone. The decision to return the money follows a day in which the British government came under continuing pressure about party funding.
A party spokesman said it was taking "swift action" following advice from the new chairman of the Committee on Standards in Public Life, Sir Patrick Neill.
