A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital last night after he was the victim of a paramilitary-style shooting in west Belfast.

A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital last night after he was the victim of a paramilitary-style shooting in west Belfast.

The man was shot once in the right leg shortly before 11pm in the Glen Road area of the city.

He was taken to hospital where his condition is described as “not life-threatening”.

The PSNI has appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
