A paedophile who raped one young girl and sexually abused three others, including two sisters, was jailed for 12 years yesterday, with a further three years on probation.
Jailing John McGibbon Sloan (57), a former UDR soldier, at Belfast Crown Court, Judge Gemma Loughran told him he had committed an “indescribably evil campaign of sexual abuse against your four victims” over nine years in the 70s and 80s.
