Orangemen vowed yesterday to make sure that last night's "Tour of the North", an Orange band parade which was rerouted by the Parades Commission last week, would pass off peacefully.
The march had been banned from going down the predominantly nationalist Cliftonville Road, Antrim Road and Duncairn Gardens areas of north Belfast.
