Leicester centre Daryl Gibson was today named in the New Zealand Barbarians team to face England at Twickenham on Saturday just 24 hours after being added to the squad.
Gibson is one of three British-based players in the starting line-up along with Saracens' former All Blacks captain Taine Randell, who will lead the side, and Argentina international Diego Albanese of Leeds on the left wing.
Five more British-based players are on the replacements' bench - Harlequins' Samoan hooker Ace Tiatia and New Zealand-born scrum-half Ben Willis, Newcastle's South African prop Marius Hurter and Tongan utility man Epi Taione and Samoan full-back Tanner Vili, both of Scottish side Borders.
