Normal train services resume after security alert

All northern train services have returned to normal following a security alert at Connolly Station in Dublin this evening.

All northern train services have returned to normal following a security alert at Connolly Station in Dublin this evening.

On making the announcement, Iarnród Éireann said many services will still suffer delays. DART services are also operating as normal.

Earlier this evening Connolly Station was evacuated in what was the second security alert to affect the station’s services this week. There was a similar alert on Wednesday but no device was found.
