A former Catholic priest who sexually abused five children has been jailed for 12 years in Newry.
Fr Michael Gerard McQuillan (43) admitted 40 sex charges involving his five victims, including a brother and sister, between December 1986 and January 1993.
He was also put on the sex offenders' register for life.
The trial of McQuillan, of Our Lady of Bethlehem Abbey in Portglenone, Co Antrim, was described in Newry Crown Court as "a sad and difficult case".
