A new service to alleviate the pain and suffering of terminally-ill patients while they are still in hospital has been opened in Dublin. The Minister for Health, Mr Cowen, yesterday launched the Irish Hospice Foundation's palliative care service in Beaumont Hospital, which marks its 10th birthday this week.
