A new case of foot and mouth has been confirmed in Devon, Britain’s Ministry of Agriculture said today.
The outbreak is at Town Close Farm, Knowstone, near South Molton, and will involve the culling of 35 cattle.
A ministryspokeswoman said the source of the outbreak had not been established.
Before today, the last known case in Devon was on May 28th.
The latest case brings the total number of confirmed cases in Devon to 167.
