The Court of Criminal Appeal yesterday fixed December 1st for the hearing of an appeal by a former publican against two life sentences he received last year for the murder of his wife and a baby girl in their Co Dublin home. Frank McCann (37), who owned the Cooperage Bar in Blessington, Co Wicklow, denied murdering his wife, Esther McCann (36), and a baby girl, 18-month-old Jessica, at their home in Rathfarnham on September 4th, 1992.
