A motorcyclist was killed in a road crash in Ring in Co Waterford yesterday evening.
The man in his early 20s died when his motorcycle was in collision with a car in Monameen on the Dungarvan Road at 5.30 p.m., a Garda spokesman said today.
The man was brought to Waterford Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The death brings to 83 the number of people killed on the roads this year.
