Motorcyclist dies in Cork crash

A man in his 30s was killed this afternoon when his motorbike was involved in a crash with a car.

A man in his 30s was killed this afternoon when his motorbike was involved in a crash with a car.

The crash happened at about 1.45pm on the R618 near Dripsey in Co Cork.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The two occupants of the car were uninjured.

The stretch of road is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda forensic collision investigators and local diversions are in place.
