Podgorica - The Yugoslav dinar will be out of use in the tiny republic of Montenegro from today, thus ending a dual currency system under which it had been used along with the D-mark since last November, monetary officials said yesterday.

Mr Dimitrije Vesovic, Montenegro's accounting and payment service chief, told reporters that the dinar was abolished as a tool for payment and the D-mark would be the only legal currency.
