An 83 year old pensioner who died in a two car crash in Co Monaghan was named yesterday by gardai as Mr James McArdle, of Corlegorm, near Brookfield, Co Monaghan.
The bachelor farmer was in a car which was involved in a collision with another car on the Dublin Belfast road near Carrickmacross. Three other people were injured in the accident.
