The manager of one of the best known Irish pubs in London has turned up safe and well after being missing for two weeks without trace.

John Sheehan (55), the co-owner of the Swan pub in Stockwell, south London, went missing on the afternoon of September 23rd when he walked out of Farnborough Hospital in Bromley.

Originally from Co Kerry, Mr Sheehan turned up on Thursday much to the relief of his family.

Relatives expressed their gratitude for the support they received from the public and said on Facebook: “Thanks everyone for all of your support John was found today safe and well we can not tell you how relieved we all our!! We would like to thank u from the bottom of our hearts for all your kind words prayers and good wishes the Sheehan family will be forever grateful to you”.
