Minister backs punishment

A Free Presbyterian minister based in Co Fermanagh has said he believes that disobedient children deserve to receive corporal punishment. In this month's issue of The Burning Bush newsletter, the Rev Foster said the teaching of the Bible on the issue of disobedience was clear. He said disobedient children had become a major social problem, and blamed this on people's "departure from the teaching of God's Word".
